Our amazing team of professionals are dedicated to training the next generation of content creators. Our instructors have worked in every aspect of production from videography, photography, lighting design and editing and are excited to share their knowledge with our young people.
In 2017, The Mustard Seed Group was established by Chicago native Rubye Lane as a way to engage young people interested in pursuing a career in television and film. With the help of her supporters, she launched the nonprofit organization that provides year round programming. Born and raised on Chicago's South Side, Rubye has made it her mission to lift as she climbs.
The Mustard Seed Group prides itself on giving elementary school students access to people and places of significance. From the United Center to Northwestern Memorial Hospital to the Google office, the organization's mission is to expose children to different experiences in the Chicagoland area.
The Mustard Seed Group is a certified 501c3 organization that offers year round programs and workshops for those interested in media. During the summer, we host a fun, creative and interactive summer camp for children ages 6-14 who want to learn the basics of TV/Film production.
Your generous donation will fund our mission.
